Founder, Napa Valley Brandy Co.
In the lush vineyards of Sonoma, the story of our founder, Jason Moravec, began to unfurl. Raised amidst the rows of thriving grapevines, Jason's early life was steeped in the culture of winemaking. His journey led him to UC Davis, where he honed his craft, earning a degree in Viticulture and Enology.
This foundation set him on a path through the heart of the wine industry, spending 15 fruitful years contributing his expertise to esteemed wineries such as V. Sattui Winery, Franciscan Estates, Patz and Hall, Kim Crawford, and Gloria Ferrer.
It was in these halls of viticulture excellence that Jason mastered the delicate art of blending and the meticulous selection of oak barrels.
His skills in creating harmonious symphonies of flavors and aromas in wine laid the groundwork for what was to come—a passionate venture into the world of brandy making.
Now residing in the iconic Napa Valley, Jason brings a winemaker's sensibility to the craft. His brandies are a testament to patience, aged to perfection, embodying the rich traditions of Napa Valley while simultaneously embracing innovation and modernity.

Sasha Moravec's journey as co-founder of Napa Valley Brandy Co. is a tale where artistry meets the artisanal. Growing up in the charming town of Sonoma, Sasha’s early exposure to natural beauty laid the foundation for her future endeavors.
Pursuing her passion for photography, she graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York, a city famed for its soaring skyscrapers and bustling streets. Her keen eye for visual perfection was sharpened amidst this juxtaposition of nature’s tranquility and the city's architectural grandeur.
As an Architectural Photographer, she cultivated a profound appreciation for aesthetics, an understanding that visuals are not just seen but experienced. This appreciation informs every aspect of our brandy, from the elegant design of our bottles to the immersive experience of our tasting experiences.
Sasha's worldly perspective, enriched by her travels to culturally rich locales like India and the Amazon, infuses our brand with a unique artistic sensibility. As a mother of two, her ambitions are fueled by a desire to create a better world for future generations—a world where sustainability and beauty coexist harmoniously.

With extensive experience in the distillation industry, Gian has mastered the art of creating smooth, balanced brandies from the finest local grapes. His expertise and commitment to showcasing Napa’s Bordeaux varieties have made him a leader in the field. A local celebrity, Gian has also appeared on the History Channel’s Moonshiners, highlighting his passion for craft spirits and innovative techniques.
